Pukekohe Performing Arts Incorporated, formerly Pukekohe Light Opera Club, is a registered charity providing quality theatre and performing arts opportunities to our local community. Harrington Theatre is the only purpose-built Community Theatre in Pukekohe, we have a longstanding commitment to our artists and patrons; supporting our local community and generating greater public interest in the arts. We make sure to offer something for everyone. Pukekohe Performing Arts is run by a member-elected Executive Committee and the Theatre Manager, Building Manager and Technical Manager are all volunteers and are not renumerated for most of the time they serve in the roles. We rely on our members, volunteers, and supporters to keep this vibrant company and venue accessible and affordable to all of our patrons and community users.
Our Executive Committee is elected at the AGM, so if you would like to become more involved and have a say in how your theatre is run, or just want to become a more active supporter – consider signing up as a member. There are various types of membership available and members receive discounts on ticket prices for a majority of Pukekohe Performing Arts productions throughout the year.
